My photojournalism professor, Martin Smith-Rodden assigned our JOUR 335 class a wild card assignment that we had two days to complete. The theme was a weather photo. I wasn’t happy with what I photographed during our class time so the next day before the assignment was due I headed out around blue hour to shoot a weather photo. Below is the photo I used. I was unsure of what crop I liked best so I turned in the original photo and two more of the same photo with crops and edits. The class decided that they liked the third photo the best.
