I’ve never eaten more fried food than during my 4 days in Mississippi telling stories about people and their relationship to the land as a participant at the Lens Collective workshop. While there I worked with another student to produce a video about the Scott Family’s land.
Faith and the Delta
Since coming back to Muncie I’ve been shooting sports a lot more sporting events than anything else. I’m more interested on what’s happening on the side lines though. I think a lot of people miss moments that aren’t happening on the field. After meeting Ethan Atterson during a Ball State game, I decided to follow up with him. I then decided to make a video about him being in the marching band.

On 9/11/19 I attended Minnetrista’s Flags of Honor event. Even though there were hundreds of flags scattered on the lawn of Minnetrista, I talked to veterans getting ready to do a three-volley salute. I made a couple frames but found I liked this one the most.
